Barry Hersch

owner / videographer

Barry Hersch

Barry Hersch created Video Discovery, Inc. in 1983 after graduating from Kent State University in 1981 with a degree in Telecommunications (film and video). Initially, Video Discovery Inc. only provided depositions and courtroom playbacks in the greater Cleveland area. Over the years, Barry began exploring new areas of legal tech such as non-linear editing and illustrations and he decided to convert VDI into a one stop shop for full litigation support. In addition to managing VDI, Barry handles most field shooting and depositions. In his free time, Barry enjoys volunteering, working out, playing tennis, travel, and being with his family.

Tyler Dorsey

trial technologies / graphics

After obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree in Communications from John Carroll University in 1999, Tyler joined Video Discovery, Inc. and successfully developed the litigation support division via leading trial technologies and graphic presentations. He is proficient in a wide array of presentation and design softwares ranging from Trial Director to the Adobe Creative Suite. He is often requested to speak at conventions and CLEs for his experience with both plaintiff and defense councils in both civil and federal circuits. Tyler is proud to have helped contribute to many successful verdicts and settlements over the years. In his free time, he enjoys spending time outdoors and going on critter adventures with his wife and two children.

Brad Simpson

courtroom technician / audio tech

Brad Simpson

Brad Simpson joined the VDI team in 2005 initially performing depositions and trial support, with a specialty in surveillance video and audio enhancement. Although Brad became the VDI office manager 2014, you may occasionally see him in the field if we are short handed on team members for the day! He resides in Aurora, OH and enjoys film photography, Cleveland Browns Football, and Seinfeld references.

 Jennifer Kerbo

medical illustrator / designer

Jennifer Kerbo

Jennifer Kerbo is Video Discovery, Inc.'s in-house medical illustrator and animator. She is certified in the generation of 3D models via FDA-approved 3D Volumization software. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University and the Cleveland Institute of Art with a degree in Biomedical Art, Jennifer uses her expertise in science and medicine to create the demonstrative evidence you need to succeed in trial or mediation. During the summer months, Jennifer also teaches the basics of medical illustration to high school students.
